"What the pieces have in common is that they are short, easy and melodic....These works will appeal to a wide age range....Inquisitive students may use these songs as an opportunity to learn about new genres of music, like Polish or Estonian folk music....Bowing and articulations are included, but fingerings are left to the player."--Aaron Germain, for STRINGS (February 2011)
