We cannot accept returns or exchanges on sheet music or other copyrighted material.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges on personal items that come in contact with the face or skin.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges on clearance or final sale items. 

You have 30 days after receiving an item to request a return. Refunds will be given in the original form of payment. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you must contact us at store@juilliard.edu. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. All returns are subject to a restocking fee.

Damages and other issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

We cannot accept returns or exchanges on sheet music or other copyrighted material. 

Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. For international shipments, the recipient is responsible for local taxes, customs fees, etc. Every location differs with how they handle international shipments; check your email spam folder if you do not see tracking within 1 business day of placing your order. For international shipments, we recommend tracking your item so it does not get stuck in customs without your knowledge.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as textbooks and course materials, personal care items, and opened music accessories such as pitch pipes, Beltboxes, or strings. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale items, clearance items or gift cards.

Textbooks
The last day to return/exchange textbooks is Saturday, September 21st. After this date, all sales are final.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
