Singer's Manual of Spanish Lyrics (Castel)

By Nico Castel

We are proud to announce that Leyerle Publications has now assumed production and distribution of Nico Castel's highly esteemed book of Spanish lyric dictation, formerly published by Excaliber Publishing. This makes a fine addition to Mr. Castel's opera libretti, currently numbering 24 volumes.

World renowned tenor, conductor, and opera entrepreneur, Plácido Domingo, states in his Foreword to this volume, "...My long-time friend and colleague, Nico Castel, has written a book that is indispensible to the English-speaking singer wishing to acquire the skills necessary to sing in Spanish. First and foremost, it addresses the Castillian idiom, but also explores the Latin American variants needed to sing music from the New World....Nico has written an eminently useful book, and it is my sincere wish that it will help stimulate interest in the music of my heritage."
