This series of anthologies for the church year and important church occasions which is suitable particularly for non-professional church musicians has now been expanded by a second volume in response to frequent demand.
The main focus of “Praise and Thanks for Organ II” lies in the 19th century repertoire.
At its centre are chorale settings for the “Hymns of Praise” and “Praise and Thanksgiving” from the German Protestant Hymnbook as well as the “Praise and Thanks” section from the German Catholic Hymnbook.
Tried and tested freely-composed organ works are also included, such as Christian Fink’s “Festpostludium” op. 63 and chorale fantasias.
- Collection of lesser known organ works suitable for all denominations
- Tried and tested free organ compositions and chorale settings from the 19th century
- Easy to medium level of difficulty
