This entertaining book provides an "alphabet of animals" to reinforce the basic concepts of sight-reading. by using the brief preparation page that precedes each piece, lifetime reading habits can be established. Any piano method in progress during the first several months of notational reading will be strengthened and reinforced by this sight-reading adventure. After the initial reading has been accomplished, this collection can also serve as a duet book, providing invaluable ensemble experiences when the accompaniments are added by the teacher or another pianist.
