Full Score. For solo piano. From Ozian Symphony: A Geo-Political Narrative. Dedicated to Irina. Commissioned by the South Valley Symphony, Anthony Quartuccio, Jr., Music Director & Conductor, in celebration of Gavilan College's 100th anniversary.
Gillikinese Etude invites listeners and performers on a partial journey through the Land of Oz. Originally a part of "Ozian Symphony," this piece for solo piano takes us to Gillikin Country in Northern Oz, which holds the most affluent populace and economic power, second only to the Emerald City. The piece explores themes of wealth, with a slight hint of corruptibility.
