Netzel: Complete Solo Vocal Works for Voice and Piano

Laura Constance Pistolekors was born on March 1, 1839, in Rantasalmi, Finland, to Georg Fredrik Pistolekors and Emelia Sofia Malm. Tragically, her mother died shortly after childbirth, and her father quickly remarried Antoinette Jägerhorn af Spurila to help support the family. They soon relocated to Sweden before Laura's first birthday. Both the Pistolekors and Jägerhorn families belonged to Finnish nobility, a heritage that Netzel carried with honor throughout her life.
