Score and Parts. Violin, Cello, Piano. Duration 4 minutes.
WILLOWSPEAK imagines the voice of the weeping willow tree that grew in the composer's grandmother's backyard. The willow tree has long been a symbol of resilience and adaptability, bending with the wind while retaining its strength. Through the piano trio's luminous textures and expressive gestures, the tree mystically recounts memories of years gone by. Watch the world premiere at www.youtube.com/watch?v=_21Bhk7Qmgs
