Liszt: Selected Intermediate to Early Advanced Piano Solos

ed. Maurice Hinson

Piano Book

Level: Intermediate / Early Advanced

Composed by one whose music is usually associated with transcendent difficulty, these works portray Liszt as a poetic miniaturist. The works chosen include the familiar Schumann/Liszt "Dedication" and Schubert/Liszt "Serenade," as well as the not-so familiar settings of chorales and the humorous "Madame Pelet-Narbonn's Merry-Go-Round." Helpful editorial pedal indications and metronome settings are included. Teacher and student alike will enjoy exploring the lovely pieces in this well-researched collection.
