"Bu-Kiap means Kungfu in taiwanese. It is written for flute, oboe and bassoon. The trio represents an abstract Kungfu scene with three masters. I was inspired by the film ‟Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”. What impressed me in the Kungfu scene was that not the Kungfu itself, but the art of Kungfu. Performers are supposed to express the lightness and playfulness of the piece." Meng-Chia Lin
