Juilliard Extension Course: Wagner's Tristan und Isolde (February through March 2026)
In anticipation of the Metropolitan Opera’s new production, this in-person course offers a deep dive into Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde—a landmark in operatic and musical history. Join music historian John JH Muller as we explore the libretto’s origins, Wagner’s groundbreaking chromatic harmonies, and the opera’s psychological depth and enduring influence.
In collaboration with the Wagner Society of New York.
