The famous melody by Gluck is skillfully arranged for cello and guitar duo by Leisner. The dramatic cello voice soars above a beautiful accompaniment on guitar. This is one of several arrangements for guitar and cello as featured on Leisner's CD Arpeggione, with cellist Zuill Bailey, which also includes Camille Saint-Saëns The Swan (144-40665) and Franz Schubert Sonata in A minor (Arpeggione), D.821 (144-40627)
