Czernowin: Manoalchadia for Two Female Voices and Bass Flute

Vocal and Performing Score

In Manoalchadia two contrasting love songs unfold at once–one bold and passionate, the other delicate and introspective. As the voices intertwine, a dramatic tension emerges, powered by the raw energy of the bass flute. This compelling interplay of emotion and style creates a uniquely powerful musical experience.
