Commissioned as a competition piece by the Flute Society of Kentucky, this versatile new piece from flute virtuoso Gary Schocker uses the contrasting imagery of "rain" and "shine" for a slow?fast piec e in two sections, making Rain and Shine reminiscent of some of his best-selling works, including Regrets and Resolutions and Airborne. A performance selection at the "All Schocker" recital at the 200 8 National Flute Association Conference, Rain and Shine is a stellar addition to the Schocker flute music catalog. For the college level or professional player. Duration: 6' 30
