4 original pieces: Express, Habanera, Nocturne and Sentimental March.
“Habanera abounds with life and vigor. Nocturne helps students develop their lyrical playing. Sentimental March lives up to its paradox of a title...Express is full of dash and energy. Rhythm is the biggest challenge in these duets, including syncopation, dotted rhythms, and three against four between violins and piano. Violins rarely go above third position. Students who enjoy contemporary sounds will be challenged and rewarded by this delightful collection.” –American String Teacher
