Simultaneously sparkling but dramatic, this tour de force for two nimble violin soloists is a great addition to the repertoire of works for two violins. Replete with imitation, exchange and soaring lines, Concertante has two versions, one for 2 soloists and piano or, the same music, but for 2 soloists and small orchestra.
