Iannaccone’s Partita is infused with the youthful passion of the then-24-year-old composer. Built upon early dance rhythms, the partita’s movements are studies in form as well as rhythm and all- interval pitch sets, while sounding as an elegant Prelude, Sarabande, Burlesca, and Gigue. For advanced pianists. Dur.: 9'30" (YouTube recording from Albany Records TROY640 Iannaccone: Quintet and Piano Works, Joseph Gurt, piano.)
