Volumes Nº 1 and 2 of this edition comprise practically all the dances of Granados inspired in some way by folklore and that is why waltzes are not included in this section. The first masterpieces such as Spanish Dances , the works of his romantic period such as Oriental - Varied Song, Intermediate and Final - as well as two of his latest works, Gypsy Dance and Green Eyes Dance, are incorporated into it . The latter, although they are transcriptions for piano by the composer himself, are also included as an appendix to the volume due to their historical interest.
